Groove Monkee is pleased to announce the release of the first 3rd-Party MIDI libraries for XLN Audio’s Addictive Drums. The following libraries are now available:

Blues For Addictive Drums ($39.95)

Groove Monkee Blues is a collection of over 800 MIDI beats for blues and blues rock. The library includes material played by a Chicago session drummer who has toured with Buddy Guy, Lonnie Brooks, Junior Wells, Magic Slim, Kenny Wayne Sheppard, Koko Taylor and others.

There 11 full-length blues songs along with 140 extra drum fills, 25 intros and over 80 endings and end fills. The library is arranged for Addictive Drums, GM and Session Drummer 1 with additional formats available in our customer download area.

Country For Addictive Drums ($29.95)

Groove Monkee Country contains over 600 MIDI beats and fills for modern country music. The grooves are arranged as Intros, Verse, Chorus, Bridges and Endings.

In addition, there are over 170 extra drum fills and a bonus section. The beats are formatted for Addictive Drums, GM and Session Drummer 1. Additional formats such as BFD, EZDrummer, DFH 1, DFH 2, DFH C&V, DFHS, Reason, Groove Agent and IMAP are available free of charge.

Metal For Addictive Drums ($29.95)

Groove Monkee Metal is a collection of over 600 MIDI beats and fills for hard rock, punk and metal. There are 10 groups of beats arranged into “song” folders with tempos ranging from 90 to 220 bpm.

In addition, there are Bridges, Intros, Endings, 150 extra drum fills and a bonus section of extra beats.

Grooves mapped for BFD, EZDrummer, DFH 1&2, DFHS, DFH C&V, Groove Agent, IMAP and Reason are available in our download area for no additional charge.

Rock For Addictive Drums ($39.95)

Groove Monkee Rock contains 1500 MIDI beats and fills covering 10 styles of rock music: alternative, ballad, blues rock, classic, contemporary, hard rock, punk, metal, funk rock and pop plus sections of half-time, basic rock and prog rock.

In addition, there are over 200 extra drum fills, 100 intros and a bonus section. The beats are formatted for Addictive Drums, GM and Session Drummer 1. Additional formats such as BFD, EZDrummer, DFH 1, DFH 2, DFH C&V, DFHS, Reason, Groove Agent and IMAP are available free of charge.

These libraries are now available via instant download or on CD. Groove Monkee offers free MIDI samples to try before making a purchase.

Addictive Drums Drum Maps Added

We've just added Cubase and Cakewalk drum maps for Addictive Drums. They will allow you to use GM mapped beats with Addictive Drums.

Previous customers: To get the maps, login to your account and go to the download area (top menu bar, right side). Click on one of your purchases (right side under 'Qualified Downloads') and download the 'Extras' zip file.

Unzip the Extras file and look in the Cakewalk or Cubase folder for Addictive Drums. You'll find the Addictive Drums' maps inside.
